Predictor: Win Lose Draw – Official Terms & Conditions
1. The Promoter
The Promoter is [JOE Media Group / Maximum Media Network Limited], operating as JOE.ie, SportsJOE.ie and JOE.co.uk, with a registered office at 41A Pleasants St, Saint Kevin’s, Dublin 8, D08 KR99.
2. Eligibility & Exclusions
- Age & Residency: This competition is open only to legal residents of the United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland who are aged 18 years or over at the time of entry.
- Account Requirement: To participate, entrants must have a registered, active account on either JOE.ie or JOE.co.uk.
- Staff Exclusions: Employees of the Promoter, their immediate families, agents, or any third party professionally connected with this competition are strictly prohibited from entering.
- Gaming Partner Blocked Lists: The Promoter reserves the right to refuse entry, invalidate any predictions, or withhold any prize if an entrant is found to appear on any of our affiliated gaming partners’ blocked, restricted, or self-exclusion lists.
3. How to Enter & Account Termination
- Entry Limit: Strictly one (1) entry per person per Gameweek.
- Cut-Off Times: Entries for each Gameweek must be submitted before the official cut-off time. This time will be clearly displayed within the game interface and is typically set prior to the kick-off of the first fixture of that Gameweek.
- Account Termination & Fraud: The Promoter reserves the unilateral right to suspend or terminate the account of any user without notice if they engage in conduct deemed improper, unfair, or fraudulent. This includes, but is not limited to, the use of automated entry software, registering multiple accounts, or any misrepresentation of identity.
4. The Game & Match Postponements
- Objective: Entrants must predict the outcome (Home Win, Away Win, or Draw) of the 10 selected Premier League fixtures for the designated Gameweek.
- Postponed or Cancelled Matches: If a selected match is postponed, cancelled, or abandoned after the entry window has opened, that specific match will be deemed void. The requirement to win will be reduced accordingly (e.g., if one match is voided, entrants must correctly predict the remaining 9 fixtures).
- Minimum Threshold: A minimum number of fixtures must be completed for the weekly prize to be valid. If fewer than 7 of the scheduled 10 fixtures are completed in a given Gameweek, the competition for that week will be deemed void, and no jackpot or safety net prize will be awarded. A special one week only prize will be announced.
5. The Prize & Determining the Winner
- The Prize Pool: The total weekly prize pool is €1,000 for winners residing in the Republic of Ireland, or £1,000 for winners residing in the United Kingdom.
- Perfect Score (Jackpot): Any entrant who correctly predicts the outcome of all active fixtures in a Gameweek wins the prize.
- Multiple Winners: If more than one entrant correctly predicts all fixtures in the same Gameweek, the prize pool will be split equally among the winning entrants. (For example, if there is one UK winner and one ROI winner, they will receive £500 and €500 respectively).
- The Safety Net Draw: In the event that nobody correctly predicts all fixtures in a given Gameweek, every eligible user who submitted an entry for that Gameweek will automatically be placed into a random digital prize draw. One winner will be drawn at random to win the full prize. The method of selection, will be decided by the JOE social team, and could involve reaching out by phone, email or social media messages. If a prize is not redeemed in the set timeframe, JOE can move the prize on.
6. Winner Notification & Strict Verification
- Notification: Winners will be contacted via the email address or phone number associated with their account within 48 hours of the final whistle of the Gameweek’s final fixture.
- Claiming Window: The winner has five (2) days from the time of the initial notification to claim their prize.
- Strict ID Verification: Before any prize is paid, winners will be required to verify their age, identity, and residential address to the satisfaction of the Promoter. Acceptable proof includes a valid government-issued ID (passport or driver’s license) and a recent utility bill or bank statement. If a winner cannot provide satisfactory identification, or fails to complete the verification process, they will forfeit their prize entirely.
- Payout: Prizes will be paid via bank transfer.
7. Publicity & Use of Winner Details
- Entry and participation in the competition constitutes explicit permission for the Promoter to use the entrant’s username, first name, surname, county of residence, and match predictions for publishing and promotional purposes.
- This includes displaying the winner’s details on leaderboards within the game, announcing them on JOE.ie, SportsJOE.ie and JOE.co.uk websites, and posting across associated social media channels.
8. Technical Liability (Server & App Crashes)
- System Integrity: The Promoter does not accept any responsibility for network, computer hardware, or software failures of any kind that may restrict or delay the sending or receipt of your entry.
- Downtime: The Promoter and its agents exclude all liability for any technical failures, server crashes, or unavailability of the JOE.ie website, mobile apps, or other related platforms, particularly in the period immediately preceding the entry cut-off time. Entries must be fully recorded in the Promoter’s systems to be valid.
9. General Conditions & Data Protection
- Data Privacy: Personal data will be processed in accordance with the Promoter’s Privacy Policy.
- The Promoter reserves the right to hold void, cancel, suspend, or amend the promotion where it becomes necessary to do so due to circumstances outside of its control.
