Investigations are ongoing.
Gardaí were called to Burrow Beach in Sutton on Monday evening following the outbreak of a mass brawl.
A number of Garda units were deployed to disperse crowds and seal off an area at the popular beach.
Huge crowds descended onto the beach on Monday for the hottest day of the year to enjoy the summery conditions.
Reports suggest a brawl broke out between a group of teenagers and videos circulating on social media show a large group of gardaí and the Public Order Unit patrolling the area.
