Gardaí are investigating following the discovery of a body on a popular beach spot in Donegal.
The body was found on the Tullan Strand in Bundoran at around 10.45am on Thursday (20 June).
In a statement to JOE, a Garda spokesperson said that a post-mortem will be conducted at a later date.
They said the results of the post-mortem will determine the course of the investigation.

“Gardaí were alerted to the discovery of a body on the Tullan Strand in Bundoran, Co Donegal at approximately 10:45am [yesterday] morning, Thursday, 20th of June 2024.
“The body was pronounced deceased at the scene.
“A post-mortem will be conducted at a later date, the results of which will determine the course of this investigation.
“No further information is available at this time.”
