Video: Here's a new way to carry your iPod
Don’t have pockets? Want to go jogging in the nip and listen to music? Here’s the solution you have been waiting for.
We have all seen the various bands and straps that are designed to help you carry your iPod (other MP3 players are available etc…) when you want to exercise or just can’t be arsed putting it in your pocket.
But now a man has come up with the ultimate in hands-free iPod holding technology; stick a load of magnets into your arm.
Yes, the lads at Newstalk dug up this video of a man called Dave Hurban, an American, who put four magnets put into his left wrist so he can place his iPod Nano there and get up to whatever he wants and the device won’t slip off.
It’s so simple we don’t know why nobody thought of it before.
We can’t help but wonder if forks or other cutlery sticks to his arm when he has dinner and surely the risk of being accidentally attached to a passing bus makes the whole project, called iDermal, just a bit too risky.
Anyway, above is the video of how he did it. It’s not too gross but it does have a little blood in it so if you are a bit squeamish you have been warned.
