Trendspotting: You have the right to remain under a vest

11/07/2012 7:02 am

Vests are no longer the preserve of Hulk Hogan and thankfully, they're now a socially acceptable part of any wardrobe. Here's how to look good.

Much like t-shirt design has really came on in recent years, with a variety of incredible designers putting their expertise to what was typically just a short-sleeve garment with a logo, vests too have enjoyed a renaissance lately.

We're particular fans of what All Saints has managed to do to the humble vest, turning it into an item that wouldn't look out of place in a nightclub, never mind a beach.

So while we have included two offerings from All Saints, we also picked out a few more for those of you on a budget this summer. Enjoy our offerings below:

River Island Motel Vest - ASOS €19.01

This vest by River Island has been constructed in cotton. It comes in a regular fit. The details include: scoop neck, print design throughout, standard hem and regular cuffs.

River Island Vest with Surf Print - ASOS €21.72
