Heineken Cup

The photo that sums up the mood in Limerick right now
Ulster went to Thomond Park and beat Munster 22-16 and the crowd in the Limerick venue didn’t enjoy it. This picture sums it up.
Courtesy of the lads at INPHO we have this brilliant picture, capturing the mood inside Thomond Park as Munster exited the Heineken Cup. We think this snap was taken shortly after Ulster went 19-0 ahead in the first half.
Munster battled back, narrowing the gap to six on a number of occasions but the home side never led and for the tackle count alone, Ulster should be applauded.
Ruan Pienaar was sensational with the boot all day, bar a shocking late miss, and he bagged 14 of Ulster’s points as they progress to face Edinburgh in the semi-finals.
Munster will be back, but they’re not used to losing down there so this will take a while to get over.
