World's youngest Mensa member says she has to "poop" on live TV
Even if your 3-year-old daughter is a genius with an IQ of 135, taking her on live TV is a bad idea - especially if she has "to go poop".
That mortifying scenario is what happened to the parents of the world's youngest Mensa member, Emmelyn Roettger, after she made a national live appearance on US TV for the TODAY Show.
After answering a few questions about the Solar System, the tot had enough of her interviewer's questions and instead announced on live TV: "I have to go poop".
Being the great parents that they are, Emmelyn's mother and father politely ignored their daugter's request, even while she tried to remove her portable microphone, adding: "Take this off me, I have to poop."
Finally, Emmelyn's cries for help grew too loud and too embarrassing to be ignored and the interview was halted to allow the young genius to relieve herself off-camera.
Emmelyn became the youngest member of Mensa back in March when she was admitted to the IQ society a few weeks short of her third birthday.
Though she is a genius, the hilarious clip is a reminder that three-year-olds are still three-year-olds and when they have to "poop", you'd better cut to commercial.
