Colourful TD Ming Flanagan had a row with Ceann Comhairle Sean Barrett that lead to the suspension of the Dail.

The Roscommon South Leitrim TD took umbrage at remarks by Barrett over his dress sense and says it has affected his children.
“The point I’m trying to make is that I’m asking you to desist from making comments about the way I dress and other members of the house dress to the national media,” Flanagan said.
“This morning I had a call from my wife to tell me that my children are being teased,” he added.
The boisterous exchange resulted in the Ceann Comhairle suspending matters in the Dail.
Never a dull moment with one of our most charismatic TDs.

Nice to be able to sit and do nothing for a huge pay package.
We don't have a dress code at work, but we do turn up looking respectful to clients. Ming should do the same; not like he picked clothes out of the rubbish bin.
Not right that his kids are getting teased, but he's the one that can influence that.
