If you’re not a fan of RTE’s brilliant basketball commentator Timmy McCarthy, you will be after this.

If you were tuned in to JOE’s favourite radio show, Off The Ball, last night you would have heard their rather brilliant tribute to the rather brilliant Timmy McCarthy.

McCarthy is RTE’s basketball commentator and his mix of American basketball lingo in a Cork accent is a joy to behold. As an ex player, he still clearly loves the game and this audio clip does the great man justice.
