The Ultimate XI will make up FIFA 20’s Team of the Year.
As the curtain closes on another year, we can look back at an exceptional 12 months of football. From Manchester City’s close-ran Premier League title race to Lionel Messi’s sixth Ballon d’Or and Liverpool’s Champions League victory, it’s certainly been one to remember.
It’s only right that the best players get recognised for their endevour throughout the year. That’s what the EA SPORTS FIFA Team of the Year is all about, and the best thing is that millions of fans from all over the world will get to pick the starting XI.
Choosing from a shortlist of 55 players nominated by EA SPORTS based on their real world performance, each voter can pick three attackers, three midfielders, four defenders and one goalkeeper in a 4-3-3 formation deciding on their Ultimate XI. The 11 players with the most votes in each position will then be chosen as the 2020 EA SPORTS FIFA Team of the Year.
To choose your XI, simply take your pick from the nominations here. Players can cast their votes online from now until Friday, 20 December so best get to it!
The official team will be announced in January, along with special TOTY Player Items to be released in FUT Packs for a limited time in FIFA 20 Ultimate Team.
