Ryanair hostess falls out of back of plane
There are two fairly basic requirements for any flight to reach the most basic levels of success. A) Don't crash and B) Don't let anyone fall out of the plane. Someone should've told Ryanair about B.
One of the budget airline's stewardesses fell out of a London bound plane this morning - thankfully it hadn't taken off yet. Still, we can imagine nicer things than falling three metres down onto fairly unforgiving tarmac.
The woman was bleeding fairly seriously from the head as she was brought to hospital in Gothenburg in Sweden earlier this afternoon.
"I have never in all my years seen anything like it," airport CEO Annika Nyberg told a Swedish news agency.
The aircraft was waiting to take off for London after serious delays and somehow in the confusion the air hostess toppled out of the back door.
According to passengers the atmosphere was incredibly stressful because staff were under pressure not to have the flight arrive too late.
"It was very confusing and unprofessional. It was almost like a state of panic when everything had to be done really quickly," one passenger told the Expressen newspaper.
