The Championship

Hold on, where are Cork playing Kerry today?
Obviously caught up in the excitement of Ireland’s opening Euro 2012 fixture later on, The Irish Sun got a bit confused about where today’s Munster semi-final was taking place.
Before we get inundated with a slew of ‘pot calling kettle’ black e-mails, comments, angry phone calls and so on, let us state that we are not above making a mistake or two here in JOE Towers, but we found a GAA error in today’s Irish Sun pretty amusing.
Those looking closely enough at today’s GAA fixtures in the paper would have spotted that the eagerly anticipated Munster semi-final meeting between Cork and Kerry is down to take place at Croke Park at 2pm this afternoon, rather than Páirc Uí Chaoimh as had widely and correctly been advertised elsewhere.

We can't believe that Ecuador v Columbia took precedence over the Munster semi-final either
We’re sure that this tiny error won’t be enough to divert the masses away from the Cork venue this afternoon; Cork and Kerry fans would have had their plans for the match in place for weeks now and besides, everyone knows that both sets of supporters only travel to the capital for All-Ireland Finals.
Just in case it does cause confusion, however, if any of you see any Cork or Kerry fans heading towards Dublin this morning, can you kindly tell them to turn their cars around.
