Let's face it, not all of us spend our night-times watching Canadian football, but this cracker (above) from Eric Hassli of the Vancouver Whitecaps deserves a wider audience.

It's probably not that unfair to call Hassli a bit of a workaday professional.

He's just turned 31 and has played for several clubs in France and Switzerland - as well as a goal-free and even appearance-free stint on loan at Southampton ten years ago.

But it's at Vancouver where he's come to the attention of a lot of football fans over the past year or so, at least those who like their cracking goal videos from around the world.

Because the one at the top of the page isn't the first time Hassli has scored a screamer for the Whitecaps. Oh no. Check this one out.
