Gary McCabe kept Shamrock Rovers' European dream alive with a wonderful equalising goal in the first leg of their Europa League qualifier with Partizan Belgrade.

Rovers have every chance of becoming the first League of Ireland side to qualify for the group stages ofthe competition after a defiant performance against the Serbian champions which ended 1-1 in Tallaght last night.

Partizan took the lead after 14 minutes through Nemanja Tomic's strike (below) but McCabe summoned the courage in the 80th minute to weave his way through the Belgrade defence and finished with panache (above).
