Video: Cracking backheel goal scored against Man United last night
Man United came back from 3-1 down to beat Hannover 4-3 in a preseason friendly last night, but the match will be remembered for a spectacular goal from a Hannover forward.
The traditional curtain-raiser to the Premier League season, the Community Shield between Man City and Chelsea kicks off at 1.30, but you’ll be hard pressed to see a better goal scored than the one scored by Mo Abdellaoue against Man United last night.
Abdellaoue who plays for Norway put his side Hannover ahead 3-1, before United came back and won 4-3 with a brace coming from Wayne Rooney, another goal from Hernandez and Shinji Kagawa picking up his second pre-season goal.
Abdellaoue’s goal was the one that caught the eye, an audacious chip past Anders Lindegaard, who had a hard night spilling Hannover’s first goal.
