Mahoney's 'We're On Our Way' makes its bid for Euro 2012 stardom, with a little help from Robbie Keane

Our latest entry features a very catchy chorus and the Robbie Keane seal of approval. What’s not to like?

We’re getting closer and closer to the launch of our vote where you get to choose your favourite Euro 2012 song from the many entries we have brought you over the past few weeks. But the new ones keep flooding in, like this one from Mahoney, called We’re On Our Way.

Released on May 4, with all proceeds going to the LauraLynn House, an extremely worthy charity, it is a completely original song, written by Dubliner Mahoney in collaboration with Rob Malone, who pens tunes with David Gray.

Despite it being a fresh tune there is more than enough familiarity in it to make it stick in your head as you cheer on the Boys In Green, with the chorus sure to worm its way into your brain after one listen.

And, this song comes with the added boost of a very important seal of approval. Ireland captain Robbie Keane has recorded a special good luck message at the start of the tune, giving his backing to the release.

You can check out more info on Mahoney here and the song will be available for download from iTunes on May 4.

So have a listen and remember, we open the voting on Monday May 7, the same that that Trap names the squad.
