What's the best way to highlight the gender pay gap? That's right, hire an ex-porn star to babble on for sixty seconds while her blurry colleagues get 'busy' in the background.

A new Belgian television advert is celebrating Equal Pay Day with some porn. Belgium has a 22 per cent pay gap and apparently the only way to close it is by becoming a porn 'actress'.

The ad shows Sasha Grey walking around the set of a porn shoot spouting gems of wisdom like: "When I turned 18 I left high school and decided that I wanted to pursue different career opportunities".

We only get a moment to daydream about what those could have been before she unceremoniously tells us the different porn 'characters' she's played: "I worked as a secretary, as a teacher, I worked as a waitress - and as a nurse I actually made more than the doctors."

Any other nuggets Sasha? Oh yes: "I like really dirty things. I've been hung upside down and tied up. I've had a 12 inch dildo stuck in my a** - with my mouth gagged. I'm proud of this, it's something I chose to do."

The whole ad is a bit of a mess. There's no clear message and it's confusing as hell. But, there are fuzzy images of porn throughout.
