The first of the ‘summer’ Bank Holiday weekends is upon us. What are the good people of Ireland planning to do? JOE went and asked.

They say you can meet all sorts on the streets of Dublin and what our intrepid team found yesterday certainly backs up that claim. A quick wander on Dublin’s northside armed with just the simple question ‘what are you up to for the weekend?’ brought out a range of answers as varied as the people providing them.

While most of us might be just taking the chance this weekend to do nothing, JOE encountered people planning everything from fishing to pitch and putt, horse racing fans to Christian bikers.

But the lads also met one man who can solve the recession by himself, a magician who turns 2c coins into €2 coins. We want to get his number and even after watching this clip countless times we can’t work out how he does it. Maybe there is such a thing as magic after all.
